Location: New York (Virtual)

Responsibilities:

  • Lead Management: Effectively manage company-generated leads to consistently generate and close sales.
  • Educate Potential Customers: Share your knowledge and enthusiasm for solar energy, educating potential customers about the benefits of adopting solar solutions from our reputable company.
  • Virtual Assessments: Conduct virtual assessments to evaluate customers’ energy needs and provide customized solar proposals.
  • Customer Presentations: Present and explain proposals to customers, addressing any questions or concerns they may have, build rapport, and guide them through the decision-making process.
  • Collaboration with Installation Team: Collaborate with the installation team to ensure seamless project implementation and customer satisfaction.
  • Sales Records: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, follow-up communications, and manage CRM.
  • Stay Informed: Stay up to date with industry trends, product developments, and government incentives to effectively communicate their value to customers.
  • Sales Targets: Strive to meet or exceed sales targets, playing a vital role in the growth and success of our company.

Qualifications:

  • Clear Background: MUST BE ABLE TO PASS CRIMINAL BACKGROUND CHECK! 
  • Sales Experience Preferred: Previous experience in sales, preferably in the renewable energy or solar industry, will be highly valued.
  • Strong Interpersonal Skills: With strong interpersonal and communication skills, you can build rapport and establish lasting relationships with customers.
  • Solar Knowledge: Familiarity with solar energy systems and their components, along with an understanding of energy efficiency concepts, is advantageous.
  • Presentation and Negotiation: Excellent presentation and negotiation skills will help you close deals effectively.
  • Results-Oriented: Be self-motivated, results-oriented, and demonstrate a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Team Player: Ability to work independently and as part of a team, collaborating with colleagues to achieve common goals.
  • CRM Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM software and proficiency in using sales tools to track and manage leads.
  • Valid and Clear Driver’s License: A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the designated sales territory.
